MyPond Hotel is an exciting, newly built hotel on the banks of the Kowie River, in Port Alfred. The car park is dominated by a 10m high Queen Palm and the entrance by a welcoming waterfall feature. You can already feel this is somewhere a little special.

The climate is temperate, and during the 2nd World War the Royal Air Force built 5 pilot training schools in the area as they felt that it had the best weather in the Empire suited to training.

The vibrant Çtarç restaurant and stunning 50 seater conference centre; both opening out onto the banks of the river, add to the hotel’s ‘get-away-from-it-all’ feel. Only breakfast and lunch are served on an á la carte basis, and there is a fully stocked bar.

Conferences and Weddings are professionally arranged to accommodate both small parties and those up to a maximum of 120 persons. The entire hotel can also be available to being booked out for longer periods by either Conference or Wedding Parties at reduced rates.
