Nestling in the fynbos clad hills above Walker Bay with breathtaking views of dunes, sea and the distant Cape of Good Hope. Here nature will enchant you at every turn. Experience some of the world s richest flora, the mystical Milkwood forest, the fascinating fauna and marine life that enthrals. An overwhelming feeling of peace and tranquility will imbue you with renewed zest for life.
Enjoy the many trails that thread themselves through the fynbos and coastal forest, which provides shelter to a variety of smaller animals such as bush buck, porcupine, grey duiker and lynx. Whether you stay is a brief or extended one, we know that Grootbos will provide you with a lifetime of unforgettable and magnificent memories.

From each luxury suite you can admire the sunsets over the ocean or start the day in tune with the forest birds. Occasionally your attention will be captured by the hawks and raptors that hunt for prey in the fields below your private terrace.
